Any suggestions on what flashlight to mount on my gen4 glock 19? I don't want the end of the light to extend very far past the barrel and it needs to be bright regardless of cost.

Also, any suggestions on a CCW holster and a paddle holster for this gun with the flashlight attached?

I've carried a Surefire M3 on my duty G23 for 5+ years and am very pleased with it. It's been bumped, banged, and rolled across the floor many a time without any issues and with being mounted during thousands of rounds it still shines bright.

Ill look at that, I have a G23 as well. Does it extend past the end of the barrel very far?

Crimson Trace light guard. Plenty bright for inside use. It's small, light and looks like it's part of the gun when installed.

Sorry, no. I have not had the means to go that route. My old agency prohibited WMLs for no good reason, so I never set one up.

I have used a Streamlight TLR 1 for a bunch of years, works good and doesn't extend too much past the muzzle.

+1 on the Streamlight TLR-1...

I have one on a Gen4 G23 sitting beside the bed and it has given me great service. It has seen range time on both a G19 & G23 and has even been shot while mounted on a Mossberg 500 with no problems!

It will stick out past your G19's nose by .9". Does that affect the light? Not so far on mine, but you will have to wipe the carbon off after a range session.

I don't carry with the light mounted, so not sure of a good holster.
