You didn't say what power it is, or if the objective is 1 1/2 or 2". I have a 15x Varminter 2" I thinking of putting on a Sharps 45-70. Ivan

It's a 10X 1.5" Varminter with dehorned mounts. Not a bad field scope, and a surprisingly low profile on the AR compared to the Weaver T-10 we initially mounted on that rifle.

I just put a 1950's Weaver K10 adjustable objective on a black rifle to see how well it will shoot.

Here's an old Weaver K-10 on an izmash Biathlon 22 sporter. The accuracy of that rifle is amazing; it's worth having a K-10 on it.

I am a bit intimidated by the Unertl's.
High price and lots of external adjustments and springs.
The Weaver K10's, if available at under $100, are a good deal for adjustable objective 10X accuracy.

I've got a 1 1/2" Target model at 20X from my small-bore days. Fabulously clear scope that you didn't need any spotting scope for 100 yard small-bore match's. Only drawback with the Target models is the very limited depth of field/focus. When you are focused at 100 yards you couldn't see anything clearly at 110 yards or 90 yards.
