I bought a Sig P250 2SUM (full size and subcompact combo) a while back. I've always been curious about this firearm and found one in the clearance bin...so she had to go home with me.
I got out this week and put some rounds through her. The short story is that it's a nice pistol but I still prefer my M&P Compact with Apex sear.
The longer story...
The P250 SC is a quality gun but it seems bigger/heavier than a subcompact should be. It is pretty much the exact same size as my M&P Compact with the pinky extension mag in it. It's too big for carry in my opinion...at least for me.
Beyond that I had no complaints and would recommend it whole heartedly. The trigger pull is long but very smooth. It measured from 6.5-7.0 lbs on my scale, closer to 6.5 on most measurements. If you ever wanted a semi auto with a smooth revolver DA trigger pull, this is close as it gets imho. I was all over the place at first but shot it better and better as I got used to the trigger.
It has a high bore axis but I don't see any negative to how it handled. It's very comfortable and soft shooting. I'd say it shoots slightly softer than my M&P Compact.
The grip texture gives good purchase. I have a narrow hand and can comfortably get 2.5 fingers on the the grip with the stock flush mag. My pinky wraps around the bottom. My wife did not shoot it but it fit her hand well when she performed a dry fire test. The sig night sights are nice. No complaints there for target shooting. The night sights do not "light up" as well as the TFO's on my M&P Compact but will definitely do the job.
I experienced no failures of any kinds but only ran 50 rounds, all fmj.
I probably will not keep the P250 but thats only because I like my M&PC so much. I would not hesitate recommending it to anyone who likes the longer trigger pull. You can get great deals now because Sig has released the P320 which is the same pistol but striker fired.
