"DOGGIN' TODAY WITH OLD FRIEND"
Prairie Dog shootin' today with two old and true friends. One is my shootin'/huntin' buddy for 50 years. The other is my old Remington Model 722 from 1951 in the ageless TRIPLE DEUCE Just thought some of you old rifle shooters appreciate, as I do, the still great Remington .222

The .222 has it's detractors:

I have a little Sako .222 that has been to the PD fields with me many trips. I assume you located enough to shoot? In SD they are getting scarce (at less than 500 yards).

In North Dakota, south of I-94 and west of the Missouri River ,they have really expanded to the point that ranchers host "Dog shoots" annually. So definitely no shortage up here. If you're interested, go to the North Dakota Game and Fish Department web site, and you can print out a map of accessible dog towns You'll be amazed
