Default Altamont grips for 3" Kimber K6S -- make my 2" gun feel much better [PHOTO ADDED]

For those with the 2" K6S who don't particularly like the factory boot grips, Alamont is now selling nice fuller sized wood grips similar to what they produce for Kimber for the 3" model. There are a variety of textured styles as well of smooth. Often they may be out of one particular style but you can call them to see what's available. $60 for smooth. $70 for textured. I bought a set of one of the textured styles and they look as good as the photos on their website.

I added a photo (above) once my wife got home (she's the i-phone expert!).

I handled a K6S. Nice gun, but I think those Altamont grips are a very practical addition. They appear to give a little more purchase for the little finger. Some of my little revolvers came with boot grips. I changed them to longer grips that I could actually hang on to. Especially important with little .357s I think.
