I have to agree that it look's like it was cobbled together from a pile of spare parts someone had laying around on their work bench. CDNN sells a lot of overstock/discontinued firearms and I can't imagine these sold very well. They probably picked up a pile of them cheap.

It's probaby what they have to do nowadays in order to get the youth interested in vintage design guns. Who wants an old wooden stocked Winchester open sighted lever gun?

Yet make a "tacticool" lever gun and maybe they will accept it, maybe.

I have seen several of those, and all I can say is "What were they thinking?" But someone there must have felt that there was a market for it, and maybe there is. It could become a hot collectible by 2050.

The tackteekool is great and makes it very useful but it needs to also be "heavy duty critical defense and rated for +P" for it too be really useful.

The venerable firm of Mossberg has taken a few steps backwards with this gun.

Even the gotta-have-the-next-big-thing tactical guys might turn away from this one.

I think they missed packing some survival supplies in the buttstock.

If it was a takedown, with a floatable case, and survival tools in the butt, THEN it might be useful. For the younger set they might add Bluetooth and a speaker instead of survival gear.....

Or......wait for it.....................electronic varmint calls and a speaker!

They missed out when they left that off!

when these first came out, i almost bought one in 30-30. my only intention was to hang it on the wall over my fireplace... i figured the conversation starter value alone would've made it worth the price! probably the ugliest gun ever, tied with the beretta neos.
