Default Beretta 92S Grips

Sometime back I purchased a Beretta 92S and it’s a very nice handgun, but I like wood grips. Since these are no longer made neither are grips for them.
Now I considered going with something custom but wouldn’t spend the money for them.
I like my wood grips and I do prefer Rosewood if available
Found some on eBay coming from Costa Rica, had exactly what I was looking for, for $40 bucks! So I thought I’d take a chance!
Well they came today,,,I was quite surprised and quite pleased! Exactly what I wanted!
Here it is pictured with my 8040... Glad I took the chance!

Looks nice. I have one of these, as well. Grips are hard to find for them due to the location of the mag release. I have been looking for a pair of the Hogue ones with the Beretta logo or a pair of NOS factory ones for about 3 years now.

I bought one of those, also. I think it was Italian Police-used surplus. Those grips look beautiful on the pistol! There's a shop here in Pittsburgh that I believe I can get my gun re-finished. It would be beautiful with those grips on it instead of the ones I was looking at on the net. Either way, it's a very nice-working gun. Yours looks beautiful! Good job!

I purchased that Beretta from a local gun shop at a better price then when they were first imported. This came in one of the very first batches.
The owner said nobody would buy it because of the Imorters mark? Collectors wouldn’t want that. Well for what he was selling for I really didn’t care about the importers mark and I have to say it wasn’t sloppily done. Too me looking at this handgun I don’t think it was ever issued? There is not a mark on it?
I’m very happy with it and I do like my Berettas...
