I cannot find anything specific about this model. It is blued, has a Jarvis match grade barrel, and laser engraved Pointman Major-C. Now, from my research, C is supposed to stand for Commander length slide, but as you can see, it looks to be a Government length slide.

Shows some holster wear on the laser engraving, but looking at the internals, been carrried/handled WAY more than its' been shot.

Serial shows it to be #143 made, and I think the date is @ 2000?

Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

That looks like the earliest of the DW 1911's, before being bought out by CZ-USA. Appears to have a Essex made cast steel receiver and slide. I think these early Pointman C pistols meant Pointman Competition as they had fully adjustable rear sights and a government model length slide.

The current Pointman C does mean Pointman Carry and is a commander length slide on an officer's size receiver, recreating the Colt CCO pistol.

Have to admit, I was planning on selling this even before I shot it. Then took it to the range. This DW is one of the best shooting guns I have shot in a long while. I love it. This one is a keeper, for now!

Contact Bob Serva at Fusion, he owned Dan Wesson when that gun was made, he should be able to provide you with some info. He sold the company to CZ.
