Kimber K6S grips
I love my K6S 3", but the smooth wood grip slips too much in my hand, and the factory rubber grips look too small. Hogue finally came out with a finger-groove synthetic grip (G10 or whatever, it feels like hard resin) and I ordered one in black - back ordered of course. It finally arrived today and it fits perfectly.
The texture is much better than smooth wood, I expect it not to slip upon recoil. The shape is nearly the same as S&W's current rubber J- and K-frame grips, which fit me great. The Hogue does not cover the backstrap, if you're wondering.
When I got the wood grips off (carefully prying with a plastic card so not to scratch anything), one of two little positioning pins fell on the floor. I had to get on my hands and knees to look, and of course the dog comes over to lick my face as I hunt for a tiny 1/4" long pin, and my glasses slide off, but that's another story... Anyway, I found it and put it where it belongs.

I have the houge G10 for mine, i went with the blue pirhana. What a difference they make. Didnt like original rubber grip, tried altamont walnut boot grip. Looked great but i really wanted something with a pinky finger rest. The houge had it and is perfect. Funny thing is when houge first showed the grip for pre order it did not extend past bottom of frame.

Glad you found some grips you like. I'll take the OEM grips off your hands, just let me know how much.

I fired a hundred rounds of 130gr FMJ today, and the Hogue grips work well. I'm going to smooth the texturing on the strong side, as my palm got sore after about 25 rounds. These slip very little, but enough to grate my skin.

Telecaster the G10 houge, with houge making the pinky rest extending below the bottom of the grip, make a huge difference in shooting the k6s. I carry it as my retired leo gun, i have the pirhana lava blue one, and the texture is not at all uncomfortable rubbing against the side of my gut whether i use a iwb or owb holster. Good luck with it!!

I am glad there are more aftermarket grip manufacturers coming out for the K6s. Mine came with the factory CT laser grips and they work just fine. If I had a longer barreled version, I would be looking at my options.

VZ also makes grips for the K6; they have wider ears, giving more surface area for the web of your hand.

Got mine on eBay. Kimber sells these direct too but we’re out of stock. Hated the little boot grips

My grips are coming from Ebay also. The price is decent so I'll give them a try.
