Default Ladies 380 comparison video

I thought this was a very good unbiased video of 4 small handguns being shot and reviewed by three ladies. This was first time for all the ladies shooting any of these guns.

I watched this video a few years ago. I had bought my lady a Kahr P380 which in most aspects as viewed in the ladies versus .380 pistols video...would be quite comparable to the G42. My wife gets along fine with the P380 but I had some issues with it being too small for my hand...and also my thumb tended to knock the slide-stop on locking the Kahr's slide open. Part of that issue I think because the Kahr P380 is a small piece....my hand is large. The little Kahr can also be tough to get a magazine locked in place(as noted with a couple of the girl's video guns)

I watched the above video and went to the local farm store and checked out a Glock 42 in person. That's what I chose for my carry .380 pistol. I've had good service from my G42. The G42 is enough bigger than the Kahr P380 it fits me a lot better...plus it has a less pronounced slide-stop lever that causes me no issues.

Of the four .380 pistols the girls were shooting I've fired the Ruger LCP and the Glock 42. I got along better with the Ruger than the ladies did although I really did not like the Ruger. I will say that the little Ruger can shoot very accurate with a bit of practice.

All that said...I ain't a girl!
