Extended mags have been produced but I have never seen an extension offered for them.

If its not offered currently on the Beretta web site I'd guess the answer is no.
Try CDNN & see IF they have any - not that they were ever offered.
Looks like a 13 rnd is available vs. a 10 rnd - would that give you the 'extension' you seek?

I always thought 13 was the norm and 10 round magazines were only made to market the pistol in some unhappy place where capacity was restricted.

That's correct, the one I sold was 13+1 IIRC.

EBay will only let you, sell magazines that hold 10 rounds or less regardless of which state you are in. Thats why you only saw 10 rounders.

My son bought these close to ten years ago. They have no maker’s name on them, but he thinks they were ProMag brand.

jimmj - I have 2 pro-mag and 2 mec-gar 13 rounders still in the package if you have trouble finding some. Let me know and I'd be willing to give up a couple.

I have 13 round magazines. A friend wants to qualify with a .380 but the instructor requires a weapon with 15 round magazines. I was inquiring if the Beretta Model 84's had plus two magazine extensions available where the 13 round magazines could be modified into 15 rounders.

In my experience Mec-Gars are as good as factory, in fact they are often fabricating magazines for factories. I would have no hesitation in ordering them for my 84. This seems a good source:
Mec-Gar Beretta 84 Cheetah .380 ACP 13-Round Magazine
...and here is a gratuitous photo, showing the 84 with its big 9mm brother:
