Has any one ever replaced an NAA barrel?

I've got a .22 mini-mag with a 5/8" barrel that is pitted pretty bad. I would like to replace the barrel but I'm not sure how they are attached. I have emailed NAA a couple times in the past week but no response. Is it just a right hand thread? I don't see any pins.

I've never had the occasion to re-bbl one.
The NAA parts diagrams on their website(s) show the frame and bbl as one factory part/assembly. They probably wouldn't sell a bbl separately, many mfg'rs won't anymore.
But sending the gun in for a bbl replacement would seem to be a normal operation,,if they ever respond to your inquiry.

I do notice that Numrich sells some NAA factory bbls for the revolvers.
Just looking at the pics they post of the parts, the bbls look like a simple threaded shank.
About all I can tell from the pics

Is the bore pitted?,,or is it just the outside that got damaged?

These are stainless steel I presume,,so the outside finish can be fixed up w/o much effort.
A pitted bore probably doesn't show much difference in coffee table distance accuracy than a clean one. But I realize most people like to have a nice bore on all the firearms they own.

I've had a few of these. I would not concern myself with the pitting these aren't target guns, unless you are getting key holes in your target. I had a brand new one do that sent it back to the factory they replaced the barrel no questions asked
Edit after looking at it how did it get this way stainless takes a pretty good while to rust...

When it came to me the entire gun had a coat of dirt and rust on it. When I finally got the cylinder pin out I found a 6" piece of nylon fishing line. It cleaned up really good except for the barrel. bore is not pitted I just don't like all that pitting on the barrel shroud. Wish they would answer me it needs a new cylinder pin also.

Looks like it lived in a wet tackle box for a while.
Since you said inside the barrel is not pitted, clean it up as best you can, lube it up and put it back in the tackle box (dry)
Good for another decade.
There’s always cerakote.

I recall reading that they use a loctite-like glue along with the threads.

NAA forum is pretty good, post on there as well.

I had one and the bore of the barrel was off center. It looked to me like the barrel and frame were one piece, but I suppose it could be threaded in.

Call them.
I've had a couple of their revolvers back to them for upgrades. They were great to deal with over the phone and their customer service was excellent. They did replace the barrel and cylinder on one and the cylinder and some other parts on two others.

UPDATE

Got my mini .22 back and I'm impressed. I asked for a new unfluted .22LR cylinder and a new unfluted .22mag cylinder. They fitted both. The also cleaned it, installed a new barrel, new front sight, new cylinder pin, new main spring and re-stamped the lettering and bead blasted it. They did not bead blast the sides that I had polished. Don't know why they replaced the main spring but I will take it out and touch it up alittle so I can get it back to a 4 pound pull again ;-) Total cost including shipping $138

I have one that can't hit a barn from inside. The bore is off center in the barrel. I think I'll give them a call. Thanks.

Mr. Howe - Great news - it looks new!! i have also been very happy with NAA. I had two but finances forced me to sell one. The second one had to go back to them because of an uneven B/C gap and poor accuracy. Not to criticize them but there was little evidence of rifling in the barrel. They took it back and replaced the barrel. I think I had to pay shipping but I figured that was the least they could ask given that the barrel and work was gratis. I also really like the unfluted cylinders & didn't know they offered them!! :)
