Default Birmingham Small Arms 30-06

I just purchased a 30-06 Birmingham Small Arms rifle serial no. 7BXXXX double trigger, I have not found the model since I only find models with a trigger. I hope some expert can help me. Regards.

Could it be that they have modified the trigger?

attached photos for better understanding...

I’m no expert on those guns, but I’ve never seen one that wasn’t first class!

The double set triggers were a factory option, maybe mainly for sale in Europe.

It's got the integral scope bases on the recv'r. I think it's an earlier Monarch or Majestic, or ??

The CF2 (I believe) are D&T'd and use Remington scope bases or some other common screw held in place base.

The stock looks alot like a CF2 though..

Should be a Model marking on the action.
The Birmingham 'date code' on the barrel will give you the year when it was proofed. Then look up what Models BSA was making that year.

I can see the date code marking in the pic of the bbl markings but can't read it.
This chart will help figure what the year of proof is from the date code.
