I thought I'd try 'ivory' grips on a stainless 1911..... I liked the way the looked so I offer them for your consideration vs. black. Got the blanks from guitarpartsandmore.com, and made them myself. This gun happens to be a 9mm; I also fitted it up with a .38 Super barrel as well. It shoots them both very well.

I’ve done that before :)

Black Grips Matter

If your going to shoot that 1911 a lot, I suggest Houge Checkered
Black Synthetic Rubber Grips.

No Slipping or Sliding, insures consistent gun hand Placement,
and shot to shot placement.

If you want something Pretty, the sky's the limit.

Chinese Virus Free Ruger FS 1911.

Mike,

You might hit up Patrick Grashorn for some polished Ram's horn. It has a wonderful deep look and sometimes gets milky grains that run through as well. I don't have any (yet), but I have a bobtailed Commander that is just begging for them ;)

I like Patrick’s work but couldn’t find Rams horn on his website? Got any pics?
