Since these don't come along often I thought you might enjoy this one.

In fact this is the first one I have actually handled....but I have not shot it.

From my research I see they only made 5116 of these over a period of years. Pretty darn cool and very lightweight compared to the real .45 ACP version.

And this one comes with an original Auto Ordnance marked drum magazine which is scarce by itself! Most are unmarked copies.

I love a unique .22 and that appears to be a very cool example. I'd proudly own that and rip through some ammo with it.

While I doubt I'd ever get to own a FA anything, I sure would like to shoot one. Especially a .22. something about a .22 ripping through rounds just looks like a real good time. This rifle with that capability would have nostalgia and fun all wrapped up perfectly.

Summit Arms had a weapon like the Thompson in 22 . This one has the drum on top . The picture is still there under used guns , but he most have sold it . I can't remember the name or if it was full auto . Maybe someone remembers the name .

That is a super cool toy, and even better in full auto. Wonder if I can find one here in Switzerland.

Anyone knows when those were produced ?

the American 180 has such a high rate of fire you can hear the difference when you change ammo types... sounds like a chainsaw... really fun if you get a chance

These Auto Ordnance versions have been selling in the $1,600 to $1,900 range as of late......

The drum that is THOMPSON marked is far less common, most tend to be unmarked.
