Yesterday I bought a SAK "Recruit" model as a stocking stuffer for each of my Grandsons, 13 & 14 yrs old.

I have had several over the years, but the only one I use now is the Rambler.
There is one on each set of car keys.

I'm ashamed to say I can't even make it to 5. Here are my 4. I'd have to say that the plain Spartan is probably my favourite; I have two put aside for the kids when they get old enough. The pouch for the Swiss Champ was something I made in a leatherwork class. The black knife was picked up in Lucerne, Switzerland, too. Probably the same Tourist Trap that another contributor fell victim too. Lol.

I love the idea of carrying one, but I have to admit I've never carried one of my Swiss Army knives. I actually seldom carry any knife. I have bad habit of losing them. And with wallet, cellphone, keys, and sometimes pocket pistol, I'm about out of space.

I have an old one I never get out that sets next to my Boy Scout knife. I do OTOH, have 6 or 7 lLeatherman tools along with a couple of Gerbers and a SAG.

I think that was a Wenger model. Some may have been in shop windows, but an older video said they would sell one for $1,000 US.
I don't know if Vic.. has kept it after buying Wenger. It included every tool they made.

I only have 3. They are a Tinker, Hiker, and Rambler. I got them because I am a Warthog fan.

I don't remember what model mine is. But I have carried it every day for 36 Years. It has given good service. I have no doubt it will serve for another 36 years if asked to and taken care of.

Swiss flight attendants can have both nice scales and be very sharp.
But I'm unsure of specific model numbers or names.

I don't have 5 but I do have 2 that I've carried every day for years and years. The Automotive was in my pocket every day of my 30 years as a Mercedes-Benz shop owner/mechanic/bottle washer and the Voyager was the off-duty knife.

I visited a Victorinox shop in Geneva. Gentleman there would assemble a knife with the blades of your choice while you wait.
They had on display an "every possible blade" knife as shown above.

I've carried a Swiss Army SD every day for over 30 years. Not the same one, though, because I seemingly go through 2 or 3 a year, usually because they get misplaced. Right now I bet there are 3 or 4 in various pants pockets, one in the washer or dryer, one under the seat of my pickup truck where it's slipped out of my pocket, one somewhere on my workbench in my shop, I think I saw one on my reloading bench, and I've got a couple more still in the box as spares for just in case I run out of loose one's laying about.
I started carrying a Swiss Army SD when I got my first job out of college as an electronics technician and I've always carried one ever since. I've got other knives I sometimes carry concurrently with the SD, but I've always got the SD with me. I once and even skinned a deer with an SD, not recommended, but it did the job in a pinch.
