Question(s) about Gemini Customs SP101

Curious if anyone here has or has had an SP101 worked over by Gemini Customs?

Thoughts on the work performed (porting, trigger work) and if it is worth the cost.

Thinking about purchasing one (but of course don't really need it) but the price seems right for the work done.

This would be my only non S&W revolver to grace the inside of my safe so not much experience with the Ruger line so searching for info.

Can't help with info, but I remember seeing that black one with the pale grips and going WOW! I'd be willing to bet that one gun sold an awful lot of SP101's.

And yesterday I walked into a LGS and there was a near-identical gun under the counter, except it was a snub. Don't need any more snubs so I let it go, but was fun looking.

I had my SP101 done a few years ago. Fit and finish is beautiful. Trigger is better than stock ( don't expect a Python trigger ) I chose to not have mine ported, I like the recoil. Wish I would have had the trigger and hammer jeweled. By the time you ship it both ways you're looking at about 800 bucks...
