You do have to appreciate the innovation and creativity. If there weren’t for creative engineers we wouldn’t have the wonders we have ….to many to list because I am to lazy :) to type them all.

I might buy one just because. If so I will post a review.

It might have its place in situations where ultra-concealibility is necessary. But nothing that would interest me, especially at that price.

It is somewhat expensive but I can see the utility; however, practicing with it will be a beeyotch - it's one of those shot-a-little-carried-a-lot-type of self defense tools.

North American Arms has essentially the same thing, as an optional grip that you can put on your own gun.

It's an interesting design, but it just doesn't offer anything of tangible value to me.

It just seems like something that should have come out in the 80s, maybe been on a TV Show, and would have sold decently back then, but there are already plenty of small, easy-to-conceal pistols chambered in more effective cartridges available today for this to make any waves in the modern concealed carry market.

It's definitely an interesting conversation piece though, I'll give it that.

Approx the same amount of weight is still there, the bulk is still there, just relocated. A alloy, double action, J frame holds 5-38 spec, 6 32 H&R mags or 7 22 mags. They weigh in at about 10 oz and they are easy to reload. They also have trigger guards and a grip designed for a human hand. They are also available in hammerless models. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a spot you could carry that concealed and not a J frame. The BIG PLUS, with the J there is no fiddling around. Grab it, aim, fire. No fiddling around opening the handle, cocking and TRYING to aim it.

Interesting? Yes, but so were those little wheels kids were spinning in their fingers.

"Hang on a sec. Let me unfold my gun first."

That's what I was thinking. Threat appears, pull folded up gun from pocket, orient it properly to unfold grip, grasp it and cock the hammer, then fire.

Vs.

Pull 642 from pocket in firing grip, pull trigger, repeat as needed.

Nah, I'll stick to my 642 on those occasions I need to pocket carry anything.
