This morning at the Vegas show, I swapped a Marlin 336RC for this beautiful nickel Detective Special that dates to 1964, my birth year. Pretty happy with the deal.

What a bunch of kids 
That really is a beautiful revolver. I like blue but really think nickel enhances a revolver.
I’d love to have one in my birth year of 1948 but had to settle for a 2” pre model 10. I have a 74 DS and love it but really like those earlier models.
