Default Just in time for Halloween

I haven’t seen these in years, orange factory Glock magazines.

I did manage to find two Glock 17 9mm mags amongst the .40 S&W and .45 a.c.p. versions. I brought those home.

I don't understand why? Are they for training? Live versus wax or blanks?

according to glock talk forums, it's designed for law enforcement range training so range officers could see they have a mag inserted from a distance

Yes, they were training items; however, are fully functional. There were some blue magazines too. Later, someone decided it was more cost effective to just make colored mag base plates.

Never even heard of them. But, as a Clemson Tiger fan, I'd use them.

Seems like a bad thing for law enforcement.
Toy guns have an orange tip and maybe in a stressful situation if a perp has these the officer sees orange he may relax resulting in a bad outcome.
Just my observation only.

I don’t believe the blue or orange magazines were ever issued for duty use. I have an orange Glock 23 mag I bought in 2008, the only one I have seen until this week.

What would keep a bad guy from painting the muzzle of a REAL gun orange?
