Back in March, while discussing with my favourite LGS, he pulled out this full auto rifle from the safe.

It’s a former Geneva airport police issue rifle. As a kid I remember seeing those airport policemen with mighty looking machine guns slung across their chest, though I was way too young to identify them. They also had MP5s.

He mentioned it came with plenty of mags, we haggled a bit and agreed on $ 1900 for the lot, in conjunction with other toys I bought from him, like the M14 and M2. It took a while to organise permits, funds etc.. but its home now as well.

Very nice,
I remember visiting a gunstore in CH when I visited in 1998, it surprised me that Switzerland allows its citizens to own silencers and machine guns over the counter unlike the USA where the govt does not trust us to own these things without major paperwork, taxes and restrictions, then again when I was there years ago most Swiss men kept their army guns in their home closets. ( is it still that way?).

I have two semi auto G3 varients, they are cheap to build and a robust design but must admit I'm not a fan although they do work.
Thank you for sharing your collection
Perhaps you can explain Swiss gun ownership laws for your American fans that don't understand Swiss gun laws.

Ps is there a reason those two HK's do not have bayonet lugs?
