Default The Sig P210A Target ....first impressions.

I recently took possession of my new American made P210 and just wanted to offer up a few initial impressions .
I've been interested in one of these for some time now but was hoping to see and handle one in person before I laid out my hard earned dollars .
I've read and reread reviews both here and elsewhere on the internet . The reviews were overwhelmingly positive so I finally pulled the trigger and made the purchase .
In the past couple of years I have watched the asking prices increase from around $1300 up to recent prices of just over $1900. I purchased mine from Cove Creek Outfitters located here in the great state of Pennsylvania for $1499 inc shipping. They originally had 4 listed and they were all gone in about two weeks.
I was hesitant to pay that amount of money for a handgun sight unseen . I will say that I have not been disappointed .
The fit and finish on this gun is everything I would have expected and hoped for on something in this price range .
The slide to frame and the barrel to slide fit is rock solid with absolutely no detectable movement whatsoever .
The adjustable sights are well defined .The trigger is excellent . It's a two stage trigger with some take up ...then you hit the first stage followed by some more resistance as you come to the second stage . I apply some light pressure and the trigger break is very light and very crisp...no creep at all. And no overtravel .
Actually I don't think it could be any better .
My original plan was to replace the target grips with a nice pair of standard grips .
In any pictures I've seen the Target grips always looked a little too large to me and I wanted something a little smaller to better fit my hands and also because I thought the smaller grips looked better.
However I find these target grips to not only be very comfortable for my average size hands but also to be very attractive. They will be staying on the gun.
I took it to the range and put about 150 rounds through it with no issues of any kind. I guess because of the tight fit I was expecting a break in period. But so far so good.
I havent taken the time to bench the gun yet to see just how it shoots with different types of ammo but any and all test reports that I've read indicate that these guns are capable of some very good accuracy . I am hoping mine is no exception.
So bottom line so far is no buyers remorse .Nor am I expecting there to be.
