I don't think i have ever seen a revolver with a folding hammer spur before. For $40 I would have bought it just to own it even if i never planned to fire it.

Great old revolver. They have one in the NRA museum. Marlin bought out H&A in 1921. You got the better end of that deal.

Cool revolver. Merwin and Hulbert also had a folding hammer spur.

In the mid 80's I was hangin' in a gun store when a customer tries to buy ammo for H&A 2" pocket revolver. No luck buying 32 short RF! So he gave it to me for my boys to play with.
At the next OGCA show I found loose rounds in 2's and 3's for about 25 cents each. I picked up about 75 rounds. The youngest boy is 38 now, but I still have too much fun to let him have it yet!

M&H owned half of H&A and both revolvers were manufactured in the H&A factory. Which one of the two came up with the folding hammer I have no idea but both companies were definitely intertwined with each other.(that's what I have read fwiw.)

Wirehaired Griffins, those girls are my granddogs. My daughter and son-in-law did a great job with those 2, best behaved dogs I've been around.
