Arizona Custom Grips
While back picked up a Colt SAA 45 with cheap repro standard black plastic/ horse. Didn’t fit well so went on hunt of grips to fit a 2gen SAA. Picked up a set of faux ivory/ medallions for $12. They had to be fit. Run across Arizona that makes 1-2-3 generation grips - screw on. Well ordered me up a pair of 2gen, didn’t fit. I guess grips were fitted to frames on 1st & 2nd Gen. grips.
Arizona Custom Grips very nice outfit to deal with. They would refund or fit grips for additional charge of $50. I opted for refund and it process of fitting de grips, a job I was trying to avoid. Got one side done, approx 2 hrs of hand sanding. Hope to get other done today. Going to soak them in some black tea overnight to see if they might stain a little.
