350 Legend AR-15 Pistol Buffer

I just set up an AR-15 pistol with a 10.5 inch 350 Legend barrel. The lower has a standard AR-15 buffer. Should I install a heavier one?

There are a lot of variables at play here. What length gas system? Which gas block are you using? Are you using an adjustable BCG? What is the gas port diameter?

That being said, I would shoot it with the standard weight buffer, and decide based on operation and ejection pattern if you need something else.

I have an 11 inch and got a noticeable improvement in mine going from a standard carbine to a H3. Ejection improved, cases had much less soot and recoil was much smoother. Your results may vary and you won't know til you try it.
