I don't really know anything about 5.7 pistols in general, but I think PSA makes several models of the Rock. I understand them to be good value for the money. I think the sale is just for the most basic, bottom-of-the-line model. I buy a lot of AR-10 and AR-15 stuff from PSA, so I get a preferred-customer email from them.

Looks like this low-end model does not have the threaded barrel or the optics cut.
