Posting about Skeeter Skelton's birthday (May 1, 1928 ) inspired me to break this one out. He had written a few times about the first pistol he ever shot, an early Colt Woodsman Sport that his dad let him shoot at the city dump. He even mentioned medium barrel which was only available when production began 33/34. This one is 1933, medium barrel, with King front and rear sights (white bead and rear white outline U). Good condition, shot a bit, but still very accurate and a pleasure to shoot! One of my favorites
