Default New Tisas 380 Range Report

Knew I had to have this one. The Tisas Fatih 13 has been around for a long time as one of the companies first pistols. A double stack Beretta Cheetah clone on an aluminum frame, this years model is re-tooled to look more like an FS than the B or BB. At least that’s my armchair take on it, having no experience with Beretta or Cheetah variants.

Two 13 round Mec-Gar mags are included, along with cleaning brush in a nice hard, gasket sealed case. Front and rear sights are dovetailed. Front site has a white dot. Excellent sight picture. Ambi safety, no de-cocker. Grips are a beautiful Turkish walnut. The Cerakote, or whatever finish they use, is semi-gloss and definitely has a blue cast.

Can’t remember if it’s been 25 or 30 years since I shot a 380. On the larger side for a 380, it was very pleasant with Federal 95gr FMJ. Felt like a 22 mag. As for my 10 yard marksmanship; it is what it is. No feeding or ejection problems.

I found this one for $340, with the (now) older model under $300.

As an aside, the Beretta 84BB LE imports are also very nice, around $400 as I post this.

Beautiful little gun and I think the marksmanship is excellent too. I don’t know of any .380 that was designed to be a target pistol. Considering the red dot of your target as a belly button, I doubt any miscreant with his vitals so punctured would be looking for anything but a Level One Trauma Center!

Sweet looking 380. And no rail, bonus.

I have the same gun .The turks seem to be making some great guns at a reasonable price point.I picked up a parts kit for a Beretta 81 THE PARTS KIT HAS ALL PARTS EXCEPT THE FRAME .AND and the 81 is a 32 acp.
I plan to fit the barrel from the 81 to the TISAS and have the option of having a .380 or a 32 acp to pl ay with.
I already have a BROWNING 1911 Black Label in .380 and picked up a 22 cal parts kit so that i can convert the Browning .380 to 22 cal
