Default EveryGunPart finally got me.

If you don't know, EveryGunPart is an online site selling gun part kits from frame destroyed guns. I get sales emails from them every 2 - 3 weeks. I guess they get them from police sales, with the stipulation the frames be destroyed. I've always thought their prices kinda high, but they constantly run sales. Today's email sale is 60% off revolver parts under $400, which is most of them. Finally bought the parts kit needed for a project I'd like to do.

a few short years ago, they used to include the main section of the revolver frame with the grip section hacked off. But now all you get is the barrel stubb piece. even with the sales, prices still kind of high. GB getting like flea bay, bidders waiting till the last minute only to extend the auction sometimes an hour after it supposedly ends

I was watching a GB auction today that was still no-bids 20 min before the end… and someone then did a buy-it-now at ~10% over the start bid spec. Huh…

I have made three purchases from them over the last couple of years. I always got what was presented at a price that was reasonable if not cheap. No complaints from my end.

Got my parts yesterday.
I am impressed with the shrink wrapped packaging.
I'll eventually find a use for that Model 65 Lady Smith barrel.
