Beretta M9?

I saw new Beretta M9s priced at under $400. Quite a shock. Is the M9 that much inferior to the Beretta 92 to be priced so low?
 
I would use ammoseek's search engine to comparison shop. Botach was selling them for under $500 a year ago.
 
FWIW, there is nothing inferior about the Beretta M9, it’s basically a 92FS with different writing on the sides. Prices are influenced by supply vs. demand and Beretta is evidently still making them (in TN).
