Not blowback... delayed roller! That's great, and will make it a much better suppressor host. Wonder if the mags are their own design, or compatible with any others...?
Street (internet) price ~$950, which under cuts the other non-blowback 9mm PCCs out there.

Guns of this type are very effective defensive weapons that can still fit in a small backpack, or next to the nightstand. Easier to shoot than a handgun for many folks, with low recoil, better accuracy and more capacity.
Besides all that, they're fun!

The mags appear to be proprietary. Ian McCollum (of “Forgotten Weapons”) dropped a disassembly video today. It looks very interesting indeed.

Proprietary mags. Polymer, clear, 30 rounds for about $25 a piece.

In before the inevitable wailing of "but why doesn't it take Glock mags".

Guess I'm old........I do better with either a shotgun /rifle /handgun.....I just can't appreciate a plastic bullet squirter that looks like it made in a toy factory.

I am beginning to think that you don’t like polymer firearms.

I don't understand how it can be considered a small portable package. It's a ginormous 5 lbs 9mm! It's the size and weight of a Sig P365, Glock 43, Springfield Hellcat and a S&W M&P 2.0 all combined into one ugly gun. And it only has a 6" barrel so the ballistics will about match any of those.

Then you should really look into the HK offerings.
I've not had a single regret.

Rodan, it IS a handgun according to Springfield - "KUNA pistol". But, to quote Mike above, it appears to be a "giant noisemaker" and I can't imagine it being easy to use when something goes bump in the night.
But it is tactikool, as I have discussed in another thread not long ago.
Is it all Tactikool now?

Looks like a Scorpion, functions like a Stribog A3. I watched a few videos of it last night, one where a guy was having problems with their magazines (proprietary of course) after a few hundred rounds of suppressed fire. I can appreciate the roller delayed from a suppressed perspective, but why not just get a flow-through can and not worry about increased backpressure on a blowback gun? I like my Scorpion, and I really like my Stribog with A3 Tactical lower that lets me use Scorpion mags.

I’ve never been into PCCs so, no but I like the fact that the gun community has options.

It is a nice PCC. I was able to handle one last Saturday. Its light compared to other similar weapons. I would be interested if I did not already have a B&T APC9K SD2 in 9MM. I have been getting email ads since they dropped and today saw one at $899. That's better than the $3999 the B&T costs.

At least you made some good picks for your 3 plastic fantastics. Nothin wrong with having a preference.
Plastic or no, if they do bring this Kuna out in .40 they can take my money.

I actually got my hands on one today. I'm not really into this sort of "pistol" but I've heard so much about them I had to at least look it over. Fit and finish seemed very good and the action seems positive. Everything works with the appropriate "clicks" and "clacks", trigger was pretty good. The stock on the brace is short so your eye is right up on the standup rear sight but a red dot could take care of that if it's a problem. It kind of reminded me of an H&K MP5k overall only 4x less expensive. All in all, it seemed like a good weapon if you like that sort. I've had short AR's in 9mm but gave them up some years ago. Kinda thinking this might be a fun way to get back into this sort of gun.

I’ve been looking at these types “pistols” lately. The CZ, Sig and HK,(mostly looking at about $2700), and now SA’s offering. Don’t know if get sucked in, but they sure do look like fun.

Visited two shops today, not a Kuna to be found. Sold before they reach the floor.
