Questions About a Colt All American 2000

I bought one at an auction 6 or 7 years ago for $400. as a curiosity piece. Never did shoot it but it's in my safe somewhere. Maybe I'll go find it and shoot it....or not.

I hung around a gun shop, repaired his guns, I wanted one when they 1st came in but the trigger turned me off and then the reliability issues surfaced quickly. I also love Colt's, I had 20 or 30 before I owned my first Model 29. I came to believe that the only way to attach good to it was good riddance.

I handled a used one in a LGS. It was polymer and rattled like a badly assembled child's toy. The rotating barrel intrigued me, and I would buy one as a curiosity at the right price, say $79.99. ;)

I remember reading the reviews on this 'revolutionary gun for a new century' during our companies Y2K meetings. It certainly was and is different.

In a few years, I think this will start to ramp up as a collectible.

Unlike many other Colts, I can't imagine enjoying this one at the range.
