Good question.

I've got a couple expired points but they are still on the books it seems.

You would think that, like the DMV, they would be expunged after time.

Again, welcome back, I enjoy your posts.

Apparently, once the infractions expire, the points expire as well. If three points give me a three day time out and points didn't expire, I'd be on a permanent time out by now.
Right now, I've got one active infraction that expires in July. If I can keep my nose clean, I'll have the unique experience of being infraction free.

I'll be pointless (that came out wrong) in 5 days.

I've got a spare one of these if anyone needs it:

Default I hope they go away.....

I'm at a point where if I get any infractions I automatically take a three day vacation. Or worse. And I have several months to go until they expire. I'd like to have a little 'cushion'. I have to try to remember clear cut rules that I can't seem to grasp and not get too 'colorful' in my expressions.

My advice is to go back occasionally and review the rules. I had a thread about my video channel and broke this rule.
8. Do not advertise, promote, or attempt to generate traffic for other internet forums, or blogs, or websites, or YouTube channels, or similar sites without prior permission. This applies whether the site is yours or someone else's.
Do not try to circumvent this rule.
I ended up with another 3 day time out. Got lotsa stuff done though.

I had an infraction over 6 months ago that says expired but the point remains. Hence my question.

No, the point does not remain.
The point value is shown to you (and staff), but the point is expired.
