Posting Pictures in a Thread

I read the following under FAQ’s:
“If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list.”

Can you please show me in a screen shot where the “arrow next to the ‘Attachment Icon’” is? I cannot find it.

Bottom line is I want to know how to attach full size pictures instead of just thumbnails.

AT 50 seconds he shows you where to click to open the Attachment Box.


FOLLOW the steps from there to insert a thumbnail of the picture.


AFTER the thumbnail is attached, PREVIEW the message.


CLICK on the thumbnail image - a new screen should appear with the picture enlarged.


HIGHLIGHT the entire address at the top of your browser: smith-wessonforum.com/forum blah-blah-blah Most browsers will highlight the address by clicking on it with your mouse once or twice.

ONCE highlighted, COPY the address. With Windows you can do this by hitting CTRL C (Hold down CTRL and then hit C and release both.


CLOSE the window with your picture and return to your thread - you should still be in Edit mode.


CHOOSE a place for the picture and type in [img] then copy in the address by hitting CTRL V then type [/img] NOTE: DO NOT PUT ANY SPACES IN BETWEEN THE 1st IMG, YOUR ADDRESS AND THE SECOND IMG!


CLICK SAVE. If you've done things right, the picture will appear in large format unless it was tiny to begin with.

I find it easiest to upload my attachments, and after the last one, I right click on the link for the first pic I want to post, copy it, click the "Insert Image" icon (yellow mountain above), paste the link in, click OK.
For the rest of the pics, I go down below this text box I am posting in, and copy the links at "Manage Attachments" and repeat:
click the "Insert Image" icon (yellow mountain above), paste the link in, click OK.
