What happen with Tapatalk?

I was able to access the forum via Tapatalk this morning in my thread in the 1522 section... now the S&W Forum Icon on my Tap app is all of a sudden gone and when I click on the notification of a quoted comment in my thread, it says I don't have permission or something like that... did I make a mistake or is there an actual issue? Is anyone else having the same thing happen to them? I enjoy using the Tapatalk app to access forums as it helps me keep them all together and passwords to a minimum. Anyway, hopefully it's only temporary and will be back soon but if any of the mods or admin know, please fill me in. Thanks!

Same here. It appears Tapatalk no longer supports this forum.

Edited to add ..... I used to use T-talk for several other forums too, all gun/hunting related. None of them are supported any more. Wondering if that's the reason?

Tapatalk changed owners and many gun forums have stopped supporting them. I do not know if this one has, but if you Google the question, you will see a boat load have.

Mine is now working.
Someone quoted one of my posts in another thread and I got a notification through TT. When I went to the quote I was able to read the thread and at the bottom it asked if I wanted to follow this forum, I hit follow and then tried to reply to a thread, it asked if I was (username and email Addy) I hit yes and things are back to how they were a few days ago.
I'm hoping quoting you might give you the same chance to get it working.

I just got a notification that a post in this thread was quoted, so I hit the notification and got the "you dont have permission" line again.
TT is not working for me now.

Hopefully someone will get an answer to what the problem is.

I have happily gotten through life to this point without Tapatalk, and will continue to avoid it.
Why would anyone need it anyway?

My understanding is that VerticalScope started a competing app called Fora Communities and sucked all of their forums out of Tapatalk and moved them to Fora. It wasn’t about Tapatalk not wanting the gun forums. VerticslScope took all of their forums out of Tapatalk, gun related or not. I had non gun forums moved as well.

I researched it last fall when it happened. The Verticalscope forums posted the same boiler plate notifications saying , “Due to a Tapatalk ownership change, blah blah blah, we will now be on Fora”. There was quite a bit of chatter about it on some of the forums that were involved. I don’t have links anymore. Unfortunately, Fora doesn’t work as well as Tapatalk and I have drifted from those forums.

Restarted, reinstalled… forum not showing up. Even tried the Google trick, it isn’t there.

I have the same problem. Used Tapatalk about 85% of the time to view the forum from my iPhone. tried Fora. Looks like the forum is not connected to Fora.

Would be great if the forum owners could optimize it for mobile devices. If so, no need for Fora, Tapatalk, etc.

The admin and Tapatalk are working for a resolution it appears. Hopefully they'll get it back right in no time!

I opened TT a few minutes ago and this forum icon was there. It appears to be back to normal.
