I continue to get AARP propaganda in my mail box.

Even after asking them to take me off their mailing list, they continue to send me their liberal crap. They are nothing more than a political action organization.

They are supporting Obamacare like almost every other liberal program being foisted on this nation.

Anyone else getting fed up with them?

You could call and ask them to send you more stuff that will go right into the landfill. i can't think of a better way to treat them than to waste thier money.

Other than getting a 5 or 10% discount on a hotel room, I don't know what other value this organization has in the world. They have been anti-gun right along for years, so this support of Obama comes as no surprise. Intimidation appears to be a factor in many cases, according to Bill O'Reilly on FoxNews channel.

I put everything into the postage paid envelope and mail it back to them.

I have posted this before, but for those of you who may have missed it, I will post this suggestion again. After writing and asking them to stop sending me their liberal crap to no avail, I started using their return envelopes to send them applications to the NRA, gun magazine advertisements, gun magazine subscription offers, and any other pro-gun literature that I had received in the mail from elsewhere.

Just when I started getting very creative, they stopped sending me their pitch letters! Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, and it cost them money whenever I sent stuff back in their self addressed envelope.

Many seniors are now seeing them for what they are. My parents, who are in their 70s, just told them to take a flying leap. Obamacare's answer to the elderly with a serious medical condition is to "Take a pain pill, and let nature take it's course." AARP supports this form of euthanasia. Tell everyone you know to dump these political hacks. They are almost as bad as ACORN.

Just another insurance company sucking money out of seniors.

Good job. I've been doing that for a while, often with a brief note saying WHY I will never be a customer. Same with AAA, another worthless company.

I get the AARP discount every time I use a hotel-love it!! Course I'm not a member and when they ask me for a card-I always tell them I forget where I put it ;)

Are you speaking Creole when you tell them this? I would be if I could speak the language.

I find it insulting that they put me on their potential members mail list.

I shared their anti gun stance with my dad and he cancelled his membership. They were relentless in sending him requests to re-join after that. He surprised me one day at the range. We were about done and he stated, "I've had enough of these a-holes!" He pulled his latest membership request out, stapled it to the target and ran it downrange. He then sent it back to them with 5 .45 caliber holes in it. I think they may have gotten the message as their literature stopped after that.

The AARP junk mail goes to the NRA, and the NRA junk mail goes to AARP.

The Victoria's Secret junk mail...I sometimes hang onto those

I don't have a problem with USING anti-gun or whatever organizations IF it benefits me.

For example, I use Paypal. I buy and sometimes sell on Ebay and must use it to do so. I love to buy from Forum members here and other places that take Paypal as it is soooooo convenient.

I don't violate their rules by using it for things like guns and am perfectly content to use it since it is to my benefit.

But AARP? I can't see ANY benefit to them. I get discounts at hotels with my AAA and Florida Bar memberships so I sure don't need them. I have some insurance and don't need theirs.

So I don't belong to their organization only because I don't need anything they have.

+1 for Victorias secret.

You can turn off the NRA junk mail online, or by calling them. I hate to think shooters waste the NRA's money when the solution is so easy. I told them when I became a life member that I would donate on my own when I could, and not to send any funds requests as they would be wasting their (our) money to do so.

Yeah, I remember some years back, my Dad got a letter from them (he was never a member) that had on the front "Here's your chance to tell the NRA to go to Hell". Bunch of suckers and guttersnipes. I sure like the idea of using their form for a target and sending it to them.

Creole is spoken in Haiti not Louisiana. Some Cajuns speak French. Not as many as there were many years ago before the state department of education tried to eradicate it.

Perfect; beats 'em at their own game.

I finally stopped getting their snail mail spam after a rather nasty exchange with them over their anti 2A liberal politics.
