It may take a few minutes for the photo upload to take place. I just received the firearm yesterday. I went to the range and NOT ONE MALFUNCTION! This is one heck of a firearm to Carry Concealed! Despite the 6 + 1 shot, the 45 ACP has plenty of stopping power!

Nice. My carry gun shares the same concept of a pocket .45 -- a Glock 36. Anyone who thinks they can't defend themselves adequately with 7 rounds of .45 ACP simply should not leave home!

I have has a CS 45 for several years now and have put many rounds through it and have never had a malfunction. It is also very accurate.

I have to shoot the gun with my pinky finger under the magazine, it looks kind of funny but after awhile you get used to it.

I have three magazines for mine and have not been able to find any locally. Good luck on those.

On my CS45 after I shoot and hold the trigger back I release to the first click and stop, pull the trigger and bang. No problem.

Let's say after I shoot I do not hold after the first click, and I fully release the trigger, when I pull now (in SA) I get two clicks and then bang.

Is this the way the S&W is, it does not happen on any of my HKs or do I have a problem.

Also I hate the magazine lock. Can this be removed without compromising the gun and CA laws.

It's your gun and you're free to do what you like to it (well, ok, you can go too far with anything, right? keep it Title I compliant and you're fine). If you were a manufacturer and wanted to sell that gun into the PRK then that safety is required in order to be considered a candidate for 'The List' (as all new guns not already on the list do). Once the gun is here, there's no general requirement to keep that safety. However, this may not be the case for all situations. For example, let's say you're LE and you wanted to use it on-duty as a backup gun. When submitted to the department armorer, he might test for and find it missing. This may violate policy either directly or under the clause of 'modified from original design' and so the gun might not get signed off for duty use. I believe that any of the 3rd gen guns with this feature can be ordered (in quantity by agencies) without it. So you might just suggest it came that way

That clcik you mentioned is on the single action pull? If so it may be the trigger play spring. Once replaced it will not happen. I have the same deal on my gun. Its a 3 dollar spring however it requires knowledge of detail disassembly which Iam trying to learn. It beats spending a hundred bucks on a gunsmith!

inboot, gave me the link and you are correct it was the spring. In lieu of replacing the spring, the link said to just push it forward and be less vibriant when cleaning in that area and like magic, the click is gone.......

I'm considering a CS45 for carry. How did you all adjust to the orphaned pinkie? Does it take much to get used to? Am I correct in that you can have one in the chamber with the hammer de-cocked? The S&W 559 has that feature, nice and safe. You can even thumb the hammer for a short pull or do it do it all at once with the trigger. Looks like the CS45 has the hammer bobbed.

One gets use to the pinky deal. Also one carry with one in the chamber and decocked. It really is a nice firearm!

I have big paws, so long as my ring finger sits above the magazine plastic it should be OK. How about the recoil on such a small frame, does it fatigue your hand?

Hi Jet you have a great CS45.I have my CS9 and after 3000+ Rounds not a single malfunction. It was my first Semi-Automatic Pistol after being a double action revolver shooter for 15+ years and getting my instructor rating.I am glad I waited because I knew exactly what I wanted in a Pistol including all metal,a magazine safety, and a configuration that fit my small hands.I would be getting the CS trifecta but Mrs.CRN said no more guns. She rarely says no but when she does I listen......Mike

i've had my cs45 for about 2 years now,i have big hands and i'm left handed(some people say that's a curse, but it works for me),and i also have my pinky on the bottom.for me it 's a better balance for when i shoot.never had any ftf's,always accurate damn fine concealment weapon.in case anybody was wondering,i use my pointing finger to drop the slide, that way my hand never leaves the grip..just my 2 1/2 cents.
