I bought a pancake style from DeSantis but it was too long.... It said it fit 2" model 10. Do I have some kind of weird gun?
My barrel measures 2" from forcing cone to the end of the barrel, but only measures 1,1/4" from the frame to end of barrel.
I am really looking for a pancake style holster with thumbreak.
Thanks in advance for any help! :)

AllGlock, I found the perfect holster for my M-10-7 2", for me at least. It is a Don Hume JIT Slide holster. It is a straight up holster (no cant) and can be worn strong side or crossdraw. My draw is very quick with this holster.......I don't know why......but there you go! I paid about $23 + S&H. If you want .....I have a fairly cheap source called Gunner's Alley. Good people, and quick too. Visit their site. Bob

Google "Holsters or Gun Holsters" and start looking through the manufacturers. Virtually every holster maker has one for a 2" K-frame.

Want inexpensive look here: Your Gun Holster, Gun Purse and Leather Concealed Carry Source | Ray's Holsters (Ray's Holsters

Or: www.lobogunleather.com (forum member named Ray) Different Ray

Or El Paso Saddlery, Bianchi, Don Hume, Idaho Leather, etc. Really isn't that hard.

I thought someone may have one laying around that they want to get rid of. ALSO, any one commercially made are too long for the 2". They are usually made for a 2 1/2 inch, and say the 2" fits... Which it does, but has about 3/4 inch extra below the barrel.

Got any pics with the gun in it?

I'm not sure an extra 1/2" of leather is a bad thing. It protects the barrel and crown.

You could also check on Ebay. there is a seller that goes by usamike99 that usually has some good deals.

No I don't, but I can tell you that the barrel sticks out the bottom about 1/8". It is very good for CCW. It's simple and small on your belt......just right!!!!

No..... you can't have mine......but the price is low for a quality leather holster. Nobodie's givin' them away!!! Bob

I had the same problem with my 10-5 2 inch. Most of the holsters I found were for M-19 2.5 inch guns. The 10-5 will fit, but in some holsters, the extra .5 inch allows the gun to rock back and forth and I don't like the loose fit. I found a holster on this forum that was reasonable in price and does a good job of holding the gun. It's an older Bucheimer Clark, that's now out of business, made specifically for K frame 2 inch guns. I also used a Don Hume JIT; it's a good holster and very reasonable in price.

yea.. I dont want the barrel sticking out, and also dont want the holster too long.....Somebody must have one that will fit the bill? I like bulbheads, but I want a beltslide pancake, with thumbreak.
