what you should be trying to do (I think its the easiest way to sight in your reflex) is, make sure your iron sights are balls on. then, flip to your smallest aperture on the iron sights, and dial in your reflex, so the center dot (maybe use the single dot for this part) is resting on the top of your front sight post.
this way, if you move to a flip rear sight, you can leave the front sight as is, and use the reflex in conjunction. as Im sure youve noticed, as you look thru the reflex, if you move your head, the aiming recticle will also move. this is why I think you should use the front sight along w/ the reflex.
btw,regarding the flip rear sight.. if I hadnt bought one along w/ the reflex, i would have been happy with keeping the factory irons. thats just me, you may be different.
