What's the punishment here for warnings?

Thanks, Nick.
Guys like you truly are the wind beneath our wings.

It's all good coz sometimes ya gotta take the medulla oblongata out for a stretch and tickle the keyboards.

Now for a little stroll w/cerebral cortex I wanna give a shout out to the administration, staff and little something special for the big guy, Lee...

I'm not gonna bump the thread, yet I would have expected a Barney Fife or Waterboy/momma sez in the hoop slama-jama.

I need the alley-oop assist in my box scores, BABY!

It seems I am the person who started this "discussion" because I did not understand the reasoning and meaning behind a "warning".Now I do know what it means and will not partake in the action that resulted in it.Thanks for it and the "Ding,Dong" meaning........Mike

I get spanked every so often-the last time was for a violation involving creative spelling-which in hindsight was deserved - I knew better:rolleyes: Every now and then in the heat of the moment we all .........mess up and Lee's reminders kick us back in line-It's kinda like being at his house watching the game and you let slip an expletive or leave a ring on the coffee table from your glass. No big deal but tighten up. Now if you get rowdy and throw up on his easy chair (like I did last year :D) punishments do get a bit stern

I get excited and my language/expressions get somewhat 'colorful' or my judgement gets a little off. And a lot of subjects here make me want to open my big mouth (or typing fingers). Even knowing the rules, I've been fooled (or fooled myself) into breaking rules. I said something on the buy/sell forum and was spanked because nothing goes on that forum. Later a guy was making what amounted to a comment than begged a question, so I replied, not knowing or thinking that I was on the buy/sell forum and got YOU'VE BEEN TOLD THIS ALREADY. I decided I'm not going to even look at that forum if I'm not buying or selling. I feel like I'm learning the rules more thoroughly by conditioning. You know. The Big Ape's dogs experiment.:D

I've had the PM sent to me for an infraction. I dint think I was wrong. Sorta Po'ed me. Then I stepped back and looked at the facts. This belongs to someone else. We use it for free are send them a couple of bucks each year. I look at this board at least two hours a day. Very cheap entertainment. No profanities. Allowed. Just good enfo and humor. I'll do my best to play by his rules.

Is there a penalty for responding to a thread over 5 yrs. old?
Doh, I guess I'm penalized then.
