Range Report!! March 20th

FINALLY made it out to the range today after picking up the 15-22 on my birthday 2 weeks ago.

The public ranges are scarce here in NJ and the closest is almost an hour away. Woke up early this morning to the beautiful Spring weather and decided to make the trek up.

VERY happy to report that I experienced NOT ONE SINGLE FAILURE!!!

Shot about 250rds of CCI Mini-Mag. Not one single hiccup, even under rapid fire and very accurate! I'm limited to the 10rd mag that it came with (have some 15 rounders on the way) but that did not deter me from having a hell of a time. My wife loved it as well!!

I am LOVING this thing. Hopefully, the smooth operation continues.. I already can't wait to go back. =)

Just for reference, mine is a DTX serial# with NO blue springs and I was originally worried due to all the apparent issues with the DTX series.. But none surfaced today... A happy camper is me. =)

My DTX1xxx spat out about 400 rounds today with only a couple of mag-snags and one stove pipe. I am very pleased with this gun. I was shooting golf balls that were on the ground from 50 yds. Its fun to watch them bounce around when you hit them

I purchased a DTX prefix with the A1 compensator first range trip 200 rounds Federal Auto Match no problems old style and new style mags used. Today Federal 550 Bulk Pack 200 rounds at least 4 stove pipes and one 2 round burst called S&W for tag to return. Mine has updated bolt but no blue springs I am disappointed. I got a deal on some Golden Bullets a couple years ago I shot 300 rounds in my new Ruger Mk 3 22/45 4 1/2 barrel that is the dirtiest ammo ever no misfires though I am glad to have found this board before shooting this in my S&W MP22. The guy I bought it from at the gun store told me not to believe everything on the net but the post on here are true to what happened to mine

Hmmmm.... Reports of multiple round firings seem to be getting more common here lately. This was rarely reported before the last few weeks.
