Wow. Long time since I've been here. Hi all!
Need to put a value on a 4 inch blued Model 19-3, in original box with wax paper, sales receipt(1970), trigger tag, screwdriver, cleaning rod and all paperwork. The only thing I think is missing is the bore mop. The box and paperwork are in fantastic condition
The gun is what I would call pristine.I'm not sure how to rate it but there's no wear anywhere, no scratches. The ring around the cylinder is so faint, it's barely there. I inherited it 20 years ago and I know my grandfather only fired 12 magnum rounds and 24 Specials. He hated the thing, being a 1911 guy. I finished up the box of specials, and a full box that was with it. Far as I know it's been fired 112 times.
It really has no sentimental value to me as I have all his treasured guns. If it's worth a fair amount, I may try and sell it to help pay for other projects.
Thanks for any advice!
Mike
