I got my speedloaders for my 686+ in the mail today. Man, they are nice! When first inspecting them I could see they are very well made. Much higher quality than the safariland comp IIs I have been using. I tryed them out a few times with some snap caps and I must say they are outstanding. They are spring loaded so they push the rounds into the cylinder instead of the rounds just dropping in. It took me less than 3 tries before I got the hang of it and was getting some pretty fast reloads compared to the safarilands. I will take them to the range tomorrow and if they survive being beaten up a little bit I'll order some more.
Now you have to remember, I got these because they are the only push type speedloaders for a 7 shot revolver. For my other guns I can't see buying the S.L. Varients when I can get Comp IIs for under ten bucks. But who knows, maybe these will change my mind.
