What's a nice condition 3913 worth? Here are some pics. I could possibly trade my XD9sc that I paid $430, plus $30 in gas to get this 3913 with 3 mags and fobus holster. I'm not worried about value but it's going to be probably over $500 I'll have invested in it. My wife really wants it, the XD9sc is too snappy for her, I think it may be how high the barrel sits.

Locally the 3913 brings $450 to $475 in nice shape. Maybe a few dollars more for LNIB with box and docs.

The ones at last weekends gunshow ranged from $400 to $475.

I'd advise you to get it. When momma's happy everybody is happy! ;) Regards 18DAI.

I have a couple of ladyfriends who really like the 3913. The grip ergonomics seem just right, the slide isn't difficult for them to operate once they learn the correct push-pull technique, the magaznes are easy to load, and the controls operation is simple and straightforward. Plus, they like that external safety/decocker. Beyond that, they really seem to shoot them well and find the recoil not at all objectionable. I actually gave one of the two 3913s I had to one of them because she wanted one and couldn't find one. Seemed like the right thing to do. My other one is set up with a Hogue exotic wood grip as a 'target' range gun. It's the only 9mm I own now. They are sure accurate little guns!

I see 400-450 as the going rate for a decent one these days but finding them is the trick. I almost got a 3953 a couple of months ago for $400, which I thought was a bargain.

If I wanted it I would not let a "few" dollars decide it for me. They get hard to find reasonable some times. I have two and would like to trade one of them to a 3953 or maybe buy one. Great little pistols.

I just got a 5943 w/2 15 rnd mags. 2 shiney? spots. End of bbl and under trigger guard from holster wear. Internals 95 plus condition. Paid 300 + the states 6.25 % ripoff. Don't think I did tooooooo bad..: )

While were on the subject, anyone care to price a great condition 3913 NL (No logo), with box, 4 magazines, and that's been worked over by Teddy Jacobson? Polished and jeweled internals, re-crowned and polished muzzle for greater accuracy, trigger work, and street reliability package; receipts for all work are available. Just curious what I should ask if ever I decided to sell.

I would love to find a 5943, seems to be ideal with ammo vs weight.

All that work has ruined the value, but I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands.:D Seriously, that one sounds like a keeper!

Oh I don't plan to sell any time soon, but it would be nice to know a round about value for the piece.

So the census is to do it? How good of condition does it look? I'd say 98%?

I'd pay that in a heartbeat. Great guns. Good reputation, conceal well, shoots good, 100% reliable. What's not to like?

I DO have one, actually a NL, plus a CS9 and a 3953. Ain't letting go of any of them.

The XD was my wife's first gun she bought. Oh well, I still have my XD :)

I love the 3913 but the grip is too large for my wife's hands, so she carries the Ruger LCP. I don't think you'll regret getting the 3913. My father is a retired LEO and he gave me his unfired 3913 a few years ago and I really enjoy shooting it!

She just handled the new Bodyguard .38 revolver at the LGS. She's in love with it. So maybe I'll get the 3913 just because and buy her the BG38.
