3-Guns, 3-Weeks, 3-Five-Sevens (357's)

hmmm..being as how i'm in memphis often...i'm wondering...where is this fine local gun store with these treasures??

You'll be forever sorry if you let that five-inch 27 get away. I've been looking for one for a very long time without success. Failing the five-inch, grab the three-incher. That's another hard-to-find item. The others on your list are somewhat easier to pick up, and now that you have the addiction, there's no going back! Congrats on your crossing over and joining the rest of us nuts.

I have an 8" 686 or a 4" King Cobra that I would sell you. Both well within your price range.

That way you could have the best of both worlds.

Email me for pix of either.

You're off to a good start. The bases are loaded. Now you need a home run. That 5 inch model 27 is the one. You won't regret picking it up now. You probably won't find another one any time soon. You'd better get while the gettin's good !

Kennyb,

Unfortunately these acquisitions have come from out of town. My luck here in Memphis, so far, has been slim. Even at the local gun shows...

Joe,

The votes have really gone towards that 5" 27. I had been leaning that way since I also have not seen many. If not, that 19-3 (2.5") is just in fantastic shape. So much for stopping at 3!

Going for the Model 27-2 (5")...

You know I think for some of us 5" N frames are like a cult within a cult. Maybe when you post pics of yours (obligatory after this thread) you can start a new thread dedicated to the glory that is the 5" N frame...bet that would draw out some really good pics.

You can't go wrong with any of those, but if it were me I'd get either the Model 19-3 (2.5") or Model 27-2 (3.5"). My 19 snubbie leaves the house with me more often than not and the 3.5" 27 is one of the nicest looking 357s out there.

No picture of my 19 snub, but here is one of my Model 27:

Wow, your 27 looks very much like mine.

(*I plan on adding a Model 36 later.)

Of these, what would "Fit" in my current quest?

I am also open for a not-mentioned model. I prefer it to be 357Mag, and Target Sights. Condition 95%+. Cost from $550 to $850.

Thanks in advance for the advice. I promise pics to come!

The model 36 is not 357 Mag.
I suggest a model 60 in 357 Mag. , target sights.

Thanks

Mark

Good point Mark.

I was zeroing in on that frame size, despite it not being a 357.
I will check out the Model 60 as well.

Thanks,

Don
