Bud's 442 and 642

I'm wanting to get a "spare" 442. Right now they are $390 shipped at Bud's.

Don't know if the prices will come down or not, but they're not likely to come down to a point where it's worth waiting for.
I'm just surprised that they're as low as they are. The 642 is
as low as when I got mine, and I've had it for over 10 years.

Just checked Jet, they're out of the no-lock 442's, but have 642's for $337.00 shipped. This is the no-lock 642 SKU. Jet is the shop in Paris, Ky that used to be Bud's. They do have IL 442's for $343.

That's the shipped price. I've bought a few from them, & I do seem to recall as you check out, there's an option for insurance (just a few dollars), but since I pick up at their shop , I don't take it.

These models were $50+ higher last year, S&W dropped their prices in January. I haven't seen J-Frames at this price for several years.
