Flying monkeys or trolls? REAL ONES.

Ok, trying to start a new thread so we have something to read besides resurrected old posts. (Altho I don't mind.)

Between flying monkeys and trolls, which are you more terrified of? Now, I'm referring to the real thing, not trolls on the forum. You know both of those exist, but I mean the ones that live under bridges and eat your goats.

Personally it's flying monkeys for me. I had to quit watching The Wizard of OZ a few years ago because of those horrible creatures. Just taint natural, know-whut-I-mean? And those tails....... Weird. And the little vests and the fez they wore.

Yep, FM's for sure. Now I got a cousin down in Kentucky that's got a herd of goats, so naturally he's more concerned about trolls, but luckily there's no bridge close to him. Course some trolls live in the woods and that can be a problem for him. The woods type trolls tho get much larger and are easier to keep an eye on. Those bridge trolls can sneak right up on you.

So, what say you, brothers and sisters? FM's or trolls?

And they're not real big. I wonder if a 22 is enough for defense from FM's or if you should use something bigger.
They do seem pretty tough......maybe a 410 with #4's?

Flying monkeys travel in packs, trolls are loners.

Pack behavior scares the heck out of me, Nothing my Benelli SBE, extended mag tube, loaded with 4 buck will not take care of.

Trolls are among the lowest forms of life in both real life and cyber-space and they should be dealt with accordingly.

By the way, I stay away from "Wizard of Oz" reruns too.

You're probably right. If your backs against the wall, it ain't no time to be messing around with 'em.

A couple of 'em I know looked like they would run maybe 80 pounds or so. Maybe a hundred, I don't know. I can judge a deer or hog, but when they're hunched over like that it's hard to tell. I got plenty of reduced recoil OO buck, I'll just go with that I guess.

Hmm... At long last a use for those anti-aircraft sights on old WW2 era Japanese rifles....

Do the monkeys have wings or did they build, or were they placed in, some sort of aircraft? They can learn sign, express ideas, and use tools after all. Hmm... Could probably teach one to fly a very simple airframe too... (scratches notes on doodle pad next to "weaponized Slinky" and "armored man eat pig" sections).

Trolls would be a bigger concern to me.
I don't think one would be prosecuted for shooting a flying monkey.

A Troll, on the other hand, could be mistaken to be a crack baby that growed up. (Which may actually be what Trolls are.)
With the support the gov gives the crack mama (house, food, money for more crack, big wheels & LOUD car stereos for the baby daddy, etc.), I would suspect that shooting crack babies would be frowned upon and possibly prosecuted.

All monkeys actually seem to delight in throwing feces. Makes getting too close to the monkey house at the zoo a bad idea. Flying monkeys could perhaps dive bomb? Ponders.
