The ultimate 3" picture thread. More three inch madness.

Love my 65-5 with bobbed hammer, dao, Hogue Kingwood Bantams and front sight insert. Great action, my goto revolver for SD.

Since this is the "ultimate" thread and I'm just now learning how to post pics, I'll contribute my 625-4. It's my only 3" revolver, and it's the one I'd choose if I could have only one handgun.

My 547, a good revolver but not a good photo.

How do you like the Pachmayr grips pictured. I was using the Compac Professional Grips, but I found the group shots at 7yds. to be larger than I like (2 inches plus). I change over to the Gripper Grips(pictured) and my groups are tighter now(1 inch plus) and better control. They just point better for me.

Double fun!

Double the fun with a 65-5 and 10-8! I dropped in bobbed hammers and the matching Hogue Bantam grips on both of these.
The 10-8 was tricked out as some sort of race gun when I found it, had a super light (unreliable) hammer spring, overly aggressive trigger job, and a mount for some sort of optical sight. I like it better now.

Mr. Simmons, how is the recoil on that 610??

With Double Tap 180gr JHP it's not bad at all. Even with the finger grooves in those stocks it just kind of rocks back in the hand. With 180gr .40 S&W it's a real pussycat. My 4" Dan Wesson 15-2 with full house .357 loads kicks a whole lot more.

I recently acquired a blued M29-3 Combat 44 magnum ser#ALB37xx. Has a little holster wear but other tyhan that it's beautiful. I'll post pics when I learn how. If anyone wants to help please email me. I would love to pst sxome pics. Thnx

The first two Smith and Wesson's that I have ever owned. Soon to be followed by many more.
