I DON"T CARE FOR J FRAMES

I like my K's...

I like my L...

I like my J's,

but they sting like he**!

- that's the Dr. Seuss version.

Just like tools, each size has a purpose. I can shoot an 8" n frame better than a 642, but it just ain't the same sitting down to a fancy dinner at the restaurant. Joe

My dad just gave me a Chief's Special 2 1/2 inch barrel, I carry it with me every time I go on a walk, I love that gun, and when I do need to carry concealed that's the only one I use

Now boys, I aint the Grinch that stole Christmas & I don't put out a rye patch hoping Rudolf stops by.
I have an opinion and some of you boys do also.
I can take the gigs and digs--I started it.
Nope I aint selling or giving away--I may even grip about it the next time I shoot them.
I got two PPKs that are just as bad---one I have carried since '75. Glad I dinn't say nuthin bout them--mighta had ol 007 on my butt.
I shot about a box & 1/2 of .38'sin em---my hand is still barking.
Shoot fire boys---wonder how long this thread would have been if I had said sumtin important--like nobody in their cotton pickin right mind would shoot a 500.
:D:eek::eek::):p:p
Blessings &
Merry Christmas.

NEWBIE hear. Please accept my apology up front...

RANT - ON:

I hate ratchet handles = they make crappy hammers.

I have several 'range guns' one is a Ruger #1, floated Lilja bbl, 28" chambered in .275 Rigby improved, another is a Shilen DGA, 338WM, shoots crappy 6" groups at 400yds.....I really don't like these guns when I feel the need for a 3 yard attitude adjustment.....THATs why I have 2 J frames.........and boy are they crappy at 400 yards...

Apologies

RANT - OFF

PS: Merry Christmas folks.......:)

love my j frames carry a model 60 with a 2'' barrel every day, also have a 4'' model 34 22 lr that goes shooting every time I go to the desert, my n frames are easy to shoot, shoot your j frames every time you go shooting and pretty soon you'll love to shoot them too!!!!

sigp220.45, tell me about that lovely little j frame you have there! it is hot, would love to have one!!!!

not sure what you mean? I think it's great for some range time, It's all about the the fun!!!! Try it you'll like it!!!

Hey mooshoo you sound like a wide eyed optimist. I like that, it's all about the fun. I've yet to fire a J frame, but how bad can it be. I'd love to have one, its all about the fun.

I'm a newbie..but my understanding is they are primarily pocket/CCW guns. I have a model 60 in .357 with a two inch barrel that will be my carry gun. I practice with it a lot at the range to get down shooting it since it will likely be a defensive firearm. Shoot lots of .38 cylinders through it, and a couple .357 cylinders through it each week....

With that said, I find them fun at the range, even when it disappears in my hand and I shoot it with a couple cylinders of hot loads!
