I recently picked up a used first series Model 845 from the LGS with Hogue rosewood grips, Hogue rubber grips, the factory plastic grips, five magazines, the factory paperwork, a lighter recoil spring, and (I think non-original grey plastic) Performance Center Case with the original shipping label for $900 (how did I do?). Had a chance to shoot it today. It is basically a 45 caliber model 52-2 or 952-2 (I have both). The trigger pull is 2.75 lb and it groups like the 52-2. I also have a 945-1 that I used to really like but the 845 beats it hands down. If you can find one of these I would highly recommend picking it up if you are a bullseye shooter.

PS: Is the case I got correct for the gun?

I dont know about the box but I know you got a great looking auto and I bet it shoots as good as it looks! Jeff

Looks good. I have been looking for one for some time.

Very nice! Recently picked up a PC 845 myself, it is a very good shooter. But mine does not have as nice of grips as yours. Got any idea if the Hogue rosewood grips are still available for the 845?

Beautiful. Just a wonderful pistol, and I prefer them over high-end 1911s for single action tack drivers.
